TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF LETENYE–GORIČAN I. BORDER CROSSING POINT STARTING FROM MID-MARCH
Due to reconstruction works at the Mura River Bridge, the road border crossing point will be closed between 18th March 2019 and 31st July 2019.
During the bridge reconstruction period, border crossing of personal and heavy duty vehicles, and buses will take place at the Letenye–Goričan II. motorway border crossing point.
On the one hand, as an alternative route, it is recommended to use the Barcs road border crossing point (no weight limit for heavy duty vehicles), or the Berzence road border crossing point (total weight of heavy duty vehicles cannot exceed 20 tons).
On the other hand, another alternative route is the M70 expressway towards Slovenia, but please note that there are ongoing reconstruction works on this road section, therefore, smaller congestions can be expected.
