THE SEARCH ON THE GROUND, IN THE WATER AND FROM THE AIR CONTINUES

Members of the Hungarian Police and units of the Disaster Management, jointly with South Korean partner organizations, continuously inspect the Danube section of 215 kilometres.

Water police officers of the Budapest Police Headquarters, in cooperation with the Rapid Response and Special Police Service, the Disaster Management and divers from the South Korean Fire Service, continue the search on all 215 kilometres of the Danube section south to Budapest.

The search is carried out by water police officers of the Budapest Police Headquarters using several vessels, in cooperation with the Rapid Response and Special Police Service and the Disaster Management and with the assistance of sonars, helicopters and drones. The operation has also been assisted by a unit from the South Korean Fire Service.

The search units have cooperated with ground units inspecting the foreshore of the river.
