Police welcome refugees at the Keleti and Nyugati Railway Station with partner agencies and provide all assistance.

The Budapest Metropolitan Police and the Rapid Response and Special Police Service are assisting refugees arriving by train from Ukraine at the Keleti and Nyugati Railway Station. In order to provide them with food, transport and accommodation, the police are in constant contact with the National Directorate General for Disaster Management, the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing, the Hungarian State Railways, the Budapest Transport Centre, the Budapest Municipality Police Directorate and the staff of aid organisations.
