Start of the race weekend.
The Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix began on Friday morning, there is a continuous police presence in the area of Mogyoród.
A large number of spectators are expected in the following days, so the Pest County Police offers the following advice to motorists:
For those wishing to travel to Mogyoród during the weekend of the race, but not to the racetrack, we recommend taking the Szada exit from the M3 motorway to avoid congestion.
For those spectators whose tickets are not valid for places close to the main gate, we recommend that they approach Hungaroring from the direction of Kerepes and Szilasliget using main road number 3.
For traffic arriving from the M0 motorway, we recommend approaching via motorway M31 followed by either main route no. 3 or the M3 motorway.
Pest County Police asks those intending to travel to the area of the racetrack in the next few days to check the latest travel information bulletins and details of traffic restrictions in advance. Please pay special attention to hand signals given by police officers and road signs on the routes approaching the parking lots.
