The Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix started on Friday morning, with an increased police presence in the Mogyoród area.

The event is expected to attract a large number of visitors in the coming days, so the Pest County Police Headquarters offers the following advice for those arriving by car.

If you are heading from the M3 motorway to Mogyoród - not to the race track - during the race weekend, please turn off the motorway towards Szada to avoid longer waiting times!

For those spectators who do not have a ticket for a place near the main entrance of the race track, we recommend to approach the Hungaroring from Kerepes and Szilasliget using the main road 3!

Drivers arriving from the M0 motorway are recommended to use the M31 motorway, then the main road 3 or the M3 motorway. 

The police ask that those who are heading to the competition venue on the following days to be aware of the current traffic situation! When driving to the parking areas around the race track, please follow the signs of the police and the instructions on the signs!
