A szakemberek 2022. június 23-án tartották meg a sajtótájékoztatót - a Nemzeti Adó- és Vámhivatal Csongrád-Csanád Megyei Adó- és Vámigazgatósága, a Csongrád-Csanád Megyei Rendőr-főkapitányság Rendészeti Igazgatósága, a Csongrád-Csanád Megyei Kormányhivatal Agrárügyi és Környezetvédelmi Főosztály Növény- és Talajvédelmi Osztálya - azért, hogy ismertessék az utasforgalmat érintő szabályokat, hasznos tudnivalókat.
A nyári nagy forgalmi időszak június utolsó napjaitól egészen szeptember közepéig tart, ami akár szeptember végéig is kitolódhat. A határátkelőhelyek kilépő oldalán június végétől tapasztalható intenzív határforgalom, míg a belépő irányban elsősorban július végétől szeptemberig számíthatnak torlódásokra az utasok. A legkritikusabb időszak, mint minden évben, így idén is július utolsó és augusztus első két hete közé tehető, amikor mindkét irányban egyszerre alakulhatnak ki várakozások.

A megnövekedett forgalom oka, hogy a Nyugat-Európában dolgozó vendégmunkások szabadságra, a turisták pedig nyaralni indulnak- mondta el Baukó Levente r. ezredes, Csongrád-Csanád Megyei Rendőr-főkapitányság Határrendészeti Szolgálatának vezetője. Idén is megnövekedett forgalommal számolnak a szakemberek. Ez a gyakorlatban azt jelenti, hogy egy átlagos nyári napon 15-20 ezer utas veszi igénybe a Röszke és a Csanádpalota autópálya határátkelőhelyet egyaránt. A nyári szabadságok időszakában, a legforgalmasabb hétvégéken ez a szám akár 60 ezerre is nőhet.

Szükség esetén – az arra jogosultak - a gyorsabb átlépés érdekében Szerbia felé kerülhetnek Tompa, Tiszasziget vagy Ásotthalom felé. Utóbbi határátkelőt 2022. július 1. és 2022. augusztus 31. között péntekenként, szombatonként és vasárnaponként 7 óra és 22 óra között vehetik igénybe. Akik Romániába szeretnének utazni, választhatják a 24 órás nyitva tartással működő kiszombori, nagylaki vagy battonyai közúti határátkelőt.
A Csongrád-Csanád Megyei Rendőr-főkapitányság a hazai és külföldi társszervekkel együttműködve felkészült a dinamikusan megnövekedett forgalom kezelésére. Emellett felkészültek arra is, hogy szükség szerint valamennyi forgalmi sávot egyidejűleg működtessék, és ha az egyik irányban erősebb a határforgalom, irányváltoztatással az ellenkező irányban további sávokat tudnak nyitni, megnövelve ezzel a határátkelőhely tetszőleges oldalának áteresztőképességét. Tavaly a megnövekedett forgalom miatt többször előfordult, hogy egyirányúsították a Röszke közúti határátkelőhelyet, ezzel segítve az átutazókat. 

Az átkelőhelyek nyitva tartásáról és az ott várható várakozási időkről a http://www.police.hu/hirek-es-informaciok/hatarinfo oldalon, valamint a Rendőrségi Útinformációs Rendszer (Rutin) mobil applikáció segítségével tájékozódhatnak az utazók. Emellett az utazás során célszerű a GPS és különböző útvonaltervező alkalmazásokat, eszközöket használni, melyek már a határforgalmi adatokat is jól kezelik, segítségükkel elkerülhetők a nagyobb torlódások.

A rendőrség kéri, hogy indulás előtt mindenki ellenőrizze az úti okmányai meglétét, azoknak érvényességét, a gépkocsi műszaki állapotát, vegyenek magukhoz elegendő mennyiségű folyadékot, és amennyiben szükséges, ne felejtsék otthon gyógyszereiket.

Press conference on summer border traffic at Röszke

Since the summer tourism season has started significant development of border traffic can be expected – was delivered at the joint press conference of the police, the customs officers and the county government office at Röszke.

The experts of the National Tax and Customs Administration, the Law Enforcement Directorate of Csongrád-Csanád County Police Headquarters, the Government Office of Csongrád-Csanád County and the Division of Plant and Soil Protection of Department of Agriculture and Environmental Protection held the press conference in order to describe the regulations and useful information concerning passenger traffic on 23^rd June 2022.

The summer peak time period lasts from the last days of June to the middle of September, or it can be postponed to the end of September. On the exit side of the border crossing points passengers can experience intensive border traffic from the end of June, while on the entry side of the border crossing points tailbacks can be expected primarily from the end of July to September. The most critical period – as every year, so this year as well – may be between the last two weeks of July and the first two weeks of August, when waiting time may develop in both directions at the same time.

‘The reason for the increased traffic is that the foreign workers working in Western-Europe and the tourists go on vacation,’ – police colonel Levente Baukó, the head of Border Policing Service of Csongrád-Csanád County Police Headquarters said. This year the experts expect an increase in border traffic. In practice, this means that on an average summer day 15,000-20,000 passengers use both Röszke and Csanádpalota Highway Border Crossing Points. At the busiest weekends of the summer holiday period this number can increase up to 60,000.

If it is necessary, the entitled travellers can choose Tompa, Tiszasziget or Ásotthalom Border Crossing Points towards Serbia. The latter border crossing point can be used between 7 am and 10 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Those who would like to travel to Romania can choose Kiszombor, Nagylak or Battonya Public Road Border Crossing Points that are open 0-24.

Csongrád-Csanád County Police Headquarters in cooperation with the national and foreign co-authorities has prepared for the handling of the dynamically increased traffic. Besides, they have prepared for operating all lanes at the same time if it is necessary. If the border traffic is heavier in one direction, further lanes can be opened into the opposite direction by the change of the direction. Through this, the permeability of optional side of the border crossing point can be increased.

Because of the increased traffic, the previous year it occurred several times that the order at Röszke Public Road Border Crossing Point was changed to one-way to help the through passengers.

The passengers can get a line on the opening hours and the waiting times of the border crossing points by visiting http://www.police.hu/hirek-es-informaciok/hatarinfo and by using the mobile application, the own road information system of the police, called ‘Rendőrségi Útinformációs Rendszer (RUTIN)’. Furthermore, it is expedient to use GPS and different kind of route planning applications and devices during the travelling. These can already handle the border traffic data well and with their help the tailbacks can be avoided.

The police kindly asks the passengers to check the travelling documents, their validity, the mechanical condition of the vehicle before travelling and to have enough liquid and the necessary medicines with them.
