Following the end of Saturday’s programme, the parking areas are now empty, traffic flow in the vicinity of the racetrack is normal.
The Saturday programme also attracted large numbers of spectators to the racetrack. After the qualifying session and the other races, spectators were able to leave the parking areas in a continuous flow, no reports of road traffic accidents were received.
As the Formula 1 Grand Prix on Sunday is expected to attract large numbers of spectators, we would ask motorists to drive with extra caution on the approach roads to the racetrack.
Please pay particular attention to hand signals given by police officers directing traffic, drive patiently in accordance with these signals.
Pest County Police asks those intending to travel to the area of the racetrack to check the traffic situation, and in particular be aware of restrictions in place.
